Seventh Letter Crew in Seoul Korea

Saber and the Larger than life Seventh Letter Crew is headed for Seoul Korea to show case painting styles at a massive event " R-16 Gyeonggi" in the first week of June 08. This will be a great opportunity to build some bridges and apparently we expected to meet the Mayor of Seoul and the Minister of tourism. This ought to be interesting. Watch out for the ambassadors of vandlizm ……

Mural in the New LA Weekly building
Downtown Lights
I was invited to paint a mural in the lobby of the new LA Weekly building in Culver City. I figured an abstract depiction of Downtown was appropriate. I took the reference photograph from Hollywood & Vine on the roof of the Taft building.

Saber is making the leap over the pond to inflict some damage at Upper Playground London during an all day, live in-store show on Friday, February 29th, with exhibition on display through March 5th. If you are in London, live there, or have a grip of money and nothing to do, we suggest stopping at UP London to watch Saber do what he does best; paint. And if you can't make it to London, we have plenty of Saber goods at your local Upperplayground.com.

Boost Mobile Presents "All Writes Reserved", a show full of blindingly colorful, carefully rendered, and physically distorted letterforms and artwork. The exhibit will also house a large-scale installation that combines West Coast graffiti with found objects from the streets of New York. By utilizing found objects, they are taking ownership of the integrated items, and are essentially translating what occurs in the streets to this exhibition.

SABER’s 168-page monograph titled Mad Society, which will be released by Gingko Press, R77 & Boost. It is due in bookstores worldwide in late August, but you can get it early by attending scheduled SABER events. (Click news for more information.)
SABER will hold his first solo art exhibition at White Walls Gallery in San Francisco on July 14. “Close Encounters” includes a number of his oil paintings and wood sculptures, as well as an installation that re-creates the atmosphere of the L.A. River. (Click here for details.)
